Shipping policy
Zaree Jewelry Shipping Policy (U.S. Orders)
We are pleased to offer shipping services exclusively within the United States. We use the United States Postal Service (USPS) as our trusted carrier for all deliveries.
1. Order Processing Time
-
Processing Time: Most orders are processed within 24 hours. However, please allow 1–3 business days for your order to be processed, quality checked, and prepared for shipment.
-
Business Days: Processing and transit times are calculated based on business days (Monday through Friday), and exclude weekends and U.S. federal holidays.
-
Processing Note: The processing time is separate from the shipping/transit time.
2. Shipping Methods and Delivery Estimates
We offer the following shipping options for delivery within the contiguous United States:
3. Free Shipping Eligibility
We offer FREE Standard Shipping on all orders within the USA that total $50.00 or more (excluding taxes and discounts). The free shipping option will automatically appear at checkout once your cart meets the minimum requirement.
4. Shipment Confirmation & Order Tracking
-
Once your order has been processed and shipped, you will receive a Shipment Confirmation email containing your tracking number(s).
-
The tracking number will be active within 24 hours of receiving the email.
5. Shipping Address and Delivery
-
We are not responsible for packages that are lost, stolen, or delayed once they are in the custody of USPS.
-
Please ensure your shipping address is entered correctly at checkout. If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect or undeliverable address provided by the customer, the customer will be responsible for the cost of re-shipping the item.
International Shipping Policy: Canada & United Kingdom
We are happy to offer shipping to customers in Canada and the United Kingdom via the United States Postal Service (USPS).
1. International Order Processing
-
Processing Time: All international orders are subject to the same 1–3 business day processing time as domestic orders.
-
Customs Declaration: Zaree Jewelry is required to declare the accurate value of the jewelry on all customs forms. We cannot mark packages as "gifts" or alter the declared value to avoid customs fees.
2. Shipping Methods and Delivery Estimates
International transit times can be significantly affected by customs clearance in the destination country. These times are estimates provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed.
3. Customs Duties, Taxes, and Fees (Crucial Information)
The customer is fully responsible for all import duties, customs taxes, and carrier-handling fees levied by the destination country (Canada/UK).
-
DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid): All international shipments are sent DDU. This means the shipping cost collected by Zaree Jewelry at checkout only covers the cost of transportation (shipping fee).
-
Payment Requirement: You will be contacted by your country’s customs office or the postal carrier (e.g., Royal Mail, Canada Post) to pay these charges before your package is released for final delivery.
-
Estimated Charges:
-
United Kingdom (UK): Shipments over the duty-free threshold are generally subject to a 20% Value Added Tax (VAT) plus a Customs Duty (typically around 2.5% for jewelry) and a small handling fee.
-
Canada: Shipments are subject to the national GST (Goods and Services Tax) or HST (Harmonized Sales Tax) and provincial sales tax, plus potential duties and carrier handling fees.
-
-
Refusal to Pay: If a customer refuses to pay the customs charges, the package will be abandoned by customs or returned to Zaree Jewelry.
-
If returned, the customer will only be refunded the cost of the products, minus the original shipping cost and any charges incurred by Zaree Jewelry for the return shipping and customs fees imposed by the carrier.
-
4. Lost or Delayed International Packages
-
Once a package leaves the U.S. and enters the local postal system (e.g., Canada Post, Royal Mail), we have limited control over its movement.
-
We cannot process a refund or resend an order that is delayed or held in customs. We recommend contacting your local post office or customs office for information.
-
An international package is generally not considered "lost" until 45 days have passed since the original shipping date.
